We act as a point of contact for drama clubs and individuals within the Fife District, offering them advice, encouragement and practical support. The Fife district is one of four districts within the Eastern Division. There are four divisions, Eastern, Western, Northern and Highland.
We are part of the larger Association, Scottish Community Drama Association (SCDA). The SCDA formed in 1926 to further amateur drama throughout Scotland with particular emphasis on rural communities where no theatre existed.
The National Office (based un Striling), acts as a central hub, providing advice and supporting the network of clubs and members, encouraging playwriting, providing an advisory service on all aspects of theatre, and organising a range of training workshops and festivals.
